Members of the Grossberg Social Committee coordinated a food drive for Bethesda Help, an all-volunteer organization that serves southern Montgomery County. Staff and partners donated several boxes full of nonperishable food items, which will be used for emergency deliveries to local households in need. Now in its 50th year, Bethesda Help provides additional short-term assistance, including financial help for utilities, prescriptions and rent to prevent eviction; transportation to doctor and social service appointments; and referrals to other agencies for long-term assistance.
